Job Description
Chicago area division of Fortune 500 Company is accepting resumes for lead Human Resources position. This hands-on position has primary responsibility for the Human Resources function at the division level, in a fast-paced, dynamic multi-union environment.
Candidates must have strengths in ADA, FMLA, EEOC, Illinois Workers’ Comp., union/non-union workplace experience, federal/state laws & regulations relating to employment, compensation & payroll, policy development & training/presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively; establish rapport and a positive working relationship with staff, managers and employees; define problems, collect data, establish facts & draw conclusions; coach & counsel; & present training programs.

Desired Skills & Experience
Qualified candidates must have related education and history of continuing education in the HR field, 5 –7 years experience in human resources, Professional Human Resources (PHR) a plus; prior distribution center or warehouse experience; strong communication skills, working knowledge of employment law and experience with MS Office applications. Bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus.
